Share Accounts
Only $5.00 is required to open an account and become a member / owner of Badger Credit Union.  To begin earning dividends, at least a $100.00 minimum must be kept in this account.

You may qualify for up to $3,000.00 of free life insurance on your share account.  There is no monthly service charge and this account entitles you to use other credit union services.

ATM Cards
We offer ATM cards for 24/7 access to the funds in your share account.

Christmas Club Account
Save for the holidays.  Any amount at any time can be deposited into the Christmas Club account.  Payroll deduction may be available.  Check with your employer or call us.  If you have direct deposit to your share or share draft account, we can transfer to your Christmas Club automatically.  On October 31st, dividends are posted and your Christmas Club balance is transferred to your share or share draft account, at your preference.

Share Drafts
If you have a direct deposit to a Share account or a direct transfer to a real estate loan, there is no service charge on your Share Draft account.  Also, if a $200.00 minimum is kept in the Share Draft account, there is no service charge; otherwise the service is just $5.00 monthly.  There is no per check charge.

There is no monthly service fees for retirees and students.

The cost for checks is reasonable as we do not add extra charges.  There is no charge for checks (if basic checks are ordered) for retirees and students.  Also, the first 50 checks are free for all new accounts.

Debit Cards
We are offering this service to all members who qualify for a share draft.  Your application may be single or joint.  Stop in for your application.

Share Certificates
Share Certificates are available for 6 months, 18 months, 30 months, 1 year, 2 years and 3 years.

Our share certificates are designed to give you the most competitive rates available, with dividends compounding monthly.

Remember, with a share certificate from us, you can relax knowing your deposits and the dividends earned are insured to the maximum amount allowed by an agency of the federal government (NCUA).

Dividends can either be added to share certificates, transferred to share draft or shares, or have a check mailed to you monthly.

A 90 day interest penalty will be imposed for early withdrawal.

IRAs
We want to help you plan for those golden years.  Those who begin retirement funding early are in the best position to enjoy many years of worry-free retirement.

We offer Traditional, Roth and Student IRA share certificates with low, minimum balances required.

6 month $250.00 minimum
1,2,3 year, 18 & 30 month $500.00 minimum

We also offer an IRA share account.  You can put away weekly, monthly or whatever works best for you, instead of one lump sum.  Only $5.00 is required to open and the dividend rates are higher than regular share savings accounts.  There are no maintenance fees.  You also have the option of payroll deduction for the IRA Share account.

Loans
We provide a friendly and helpful Loan Department staff.

We offer the following types of loans:

• Automobile Loans

We also offer personal loans, unsecured loans (may qualify for up to $5,000.00), loans for snowmobiles, boats, etc.

Our rates are very competitive and we have low processing fees.

If you desire, life and disability insurance may be available at a low cost to provide additional financial security.

Payments to your loans can be made weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly.
